The Host is a science fiction and romance novel, written by the world famous author of The Twilight Saga, Stephenie Meyer. This book was released back in 2008, but the film version comes to cinemas next March. Take a look at the teaser trailer which was released recently...
Watching this video has really made me want to watch the film! However, I have never read the novel version of The Host even though I've owned it since 2009! I don't really know why - I just haven't got round to it. But I am definitely going to start reading now. If The Host is as good as Stephenie Meyer's other work, it's certainly worth a read. I absolutely love The Twilight Saga and have read all four books cover to cover, so it's about time I moved onto something different.

It sounds really complex but very gripping at the same time. I'm going to start reading this international bestseller and let you know how it is! If you'd rather watch the film first, then it's released in March 2013.
