The X Factor: My Verdict

It's nearly Saturday night, which only means one thing... The X Factor! I can't wait to snuggle up on the sofa with a massive pizza and watch The X Factor drama unfold. It's week three and all the contestants will be singing club classics. I'm quite opinionated when it comes to talent and reality shows, so here's my verdict on all the current contestants...

My opinions on the contestants may change after tonight's show and as the competition progresses. I'd love to here what your verdicts are on the contestants. Who do you love? Who do you hate? Who will be in the bottom two? Who will win? I want to hear from you readers! Get in touch on www.facebook.com/MaterialMedia and by mentioning @Abbey_Hartley on Twitter. If your comments are juicy enough they may feature on a future post. Get commenting and tweeting... And don't forget to tune into ITV1 at 8.20pm tonight!

Amelia Lily Debuts Her First Single

Does everyone remember Amelia Lily from last year's series of The X Factor? If not, let me refresh your memory! The 17 year old had a rocky road through the singing talent competition. First she was voted off by her mentor, Kelly Rowland, after just one performance in the live shows. Amelia Lily then got given a second chance, by replacing Frankie Cocozza (who was kicked off the show for taking drugs). The blonde bombshell then finished in an amazing third place!

I loved Amelia Lily on The X Factor last year. I thought she had a brilliant voice and provided a great presence on stage! So that's why I'm really excited to hear her debut single. 'You Bring Me Joy' will be released on August 26th through Sony Music and Xenomania. Amelia Lily signed a three year contract with the label earlier this year! Have a listen of the much anticipated single...

I think this lively summer track is really catchy and will be a success in the UK Top 40! Amelia Lily thinks so too as she expressed her excitement over Twitter. She tweeted: "Cannot wait for my debut single 'You Bring Me Joy' to be released on August 26th!!!! ‪#tooexcited". I can't wait either Amelia!

As you may have noticed, the video I have posted doesn't feature the official music video for 'You Bring Me Joy'. It hasn't been recorded yet! The up and coming star tweeted earlier today: "Woooo so excited to go to LA in the morning to shoot my music video for 'You Bring Me Joy' !!!" So it's a very busy time for Amelia Lily. The X Factor obviously wasn't the last of Amelia, it was just the start. Watch this space!
