A Sunny Dog Walk
Today in the UK, we've had some sunshine and blue skies! The perfect way to start off June. Like all dog owners, it's particular enjoyable to walk your dog when the weather is sunny. It's just miserable walking a wet smelly dog in the rain. I took advantage of my sunny dog walk to take some photos, as it is a very rare event in Great Britain. Get Ready For A Garden Party!
The weather is miserable here in the UK. Rain, rain, rain! I wore my winter coat today and it's nearly June. Therefore, I think we need something summery and warm to look forward to. Summer Checklist Update
Remember my blog post back on June 3rd about creating a summer checklist? If not, use the drop down menu on the right to have a read! If yes, I promised you I'd keep you updated on my progress of completing all my summer activities. So here we go...
As you can see, I'm getting closer to ticking off all my tasks! I really advise you to add strawberry picking to your lists if you haven't already. It was a great morning out during the beautiful warm weather we had. The strawberries also tasted delicious and were generously priced! I stayed in a cottage and spend the day on the beach in Devon last week (as described in my previous blog post).
I have some of the other tasks planned during the next month, so my summer checklist will surely be completed by September 22nd (when I go back to reality - University!) I have a cocktail party planned towards the end of the month, which I'm really looking forward to. Me and my friends will also be having a picnic when the weather is slightly better!

Why You Should Have A Summer Checklist!
We are in June which means the summer months are officially here! Everyone has their holidays booked and summer clothes are being returned to the wardrobes. But before you do anything else... You need to create a summer checklist!
The summer season flies by very quickly so it is important that you don't waste it. I advise everyone to make a list of activities, places and events that you wish to complete and visit before the summer weather is over. Here is a look at mine...
As you can see I've already had a BBQ, all because of that fantastic May weather we had last week, but I'm still planning to have plenty more delicious BBQs!
I have many reasons why it's a great idea to create a checklist for the summer:
1. Gives you something to look forward to
2. Ensures that your summer isn't wasted
3. Fun to create
4. Provide photo opportunities
5. You can make a scrapbook of all your summer activities
6. Helps you reflect on the exciting, action packed summer you had!
I'll be updating you throughout the summer on how completing my list is going! (I have until September 22nd - which is when the hard work begins during my second year of university). Finally, I hope I have persuaded you all to make a summer checklist!
