DIY Bunting

Bunting has never been so on trend! Thanks to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics, bunting lines our highstreets and fills our shop shelves. I've made some of my own bunting to decorate my bedroom! Here's a couple of snaps...

This bunting was really easy to make! I bought the triangle shapes, buttons and thread separately from The Range, but any arts and crafts shops will sell them. Then all you have to do is thread the triangle shapes and buttons along the string - Simple and easy! They really brighten up shelves and act as a cute feature in your bedroom.

I'm not going to lie, I didn't make this set of bunting! I got this wooden heart shaped bunting from Sainsbury's. They look great in my bedroom and bring some life to the wall! These would be possible to make yourselves though. The rope is just threaded through the back of the painted hearts. Creating bunting like this will be ideal for you art enthusiasts! If any of you readers fancy making some easier bunting, try buying scrap fabrics off eBay or from fabric shops. Then attach them to a strand of ribbon! They'll really brighten up your homes and will act as a fun hobbie.

I hope I've bought out your creative sides readers. Happy bunting making!
