As I've said in previous posts, it was my birthday yesterday! Even though I wasn't looking forward to turning twenty, I've made the most of it with a variety of celebrations. Twenty hasn't turned out to be bad at all! Here's a few photos to show you what I've been up to...
So to kick start my birthday, I had some of my friends round for a cocktail party! We had a lovely time sipping on Pina Coladas, Sex On The Beaches, 'Sisco Bays, Pineapple Fizzes and Moscow Mules. They tasted so good and were really easy to make. I advise any of my readers to host a cocktail party for a future birthday. Here's a tip: Make sure you provide summery and exotic decorations for the drinks such as umbrellas, stirrers and fresh fruit! The cocktails look so colourful, bright and pretty with them. On the day of my twentieth, I went for a shopping trip in Worcester! I grabbed a great bargain. If you need a new pair of heels, head to New Look - they've got a number of shoes on a '£10 off' deal, plus 10% off if you have a valid student card! The black and blue heels I'm wearing above were only £12. I really do love a bargain! Another one of my recommendations is to check out River Island's dresses. Like I've said before, I desperately needed to update the 'going out' section of my wardrobe. River Island didn't let me down and had a gorgeous collection of partying dresses. After trying on a handful, I opted for the aztec printed number pictured above!
I also went out for a posh dinner on my birthday. If you're a local reader and live in or around Kidderminster, you'll have heard of La Brasserie. This sophisticated French restaurant is situated in the town centre (Weavers Wharf to be exact) and provides absolutely delicious food! There's a great three course meal deal on week nights for just £13.99, which also includes a glass of wine. If you fancy being waited on and treated to some beautiful food, then book a table at La Brasserie!
