So I've just got back from the cinema after watching Keith Lemon: The Film, all I can say is that I'm slightly disappointed. The comedy starring Leigh Francis, Kelly Brook and Verne Troyer didn't live up to my expectations unfortunately! It wasn't as funny as I expected it to be. All the funniest parts of the film were included in the trailer, so don't hope for much more.
Here's a sum up of my verdict!
What's right with it:
- An all-star cast. Famous faces from Peter Andre to Fearne Cotton to Jason Donovan appear throughout the film.
- There was a well thought out story and plot - To appreciate what you have in life and to not strive on fortune and fame.
- Keith Lemon: The Film is just a bit of fun and not to be taken too seriously.
What's wrong with it:
- Some of the acting was just terrible.
- The genre was 'comedy' but I only chuckled a handful of times - Not hysterically laughing!
- If you've seen the trailer, you've already seen the film.
- There was lots of female nudity for the men, but what about us girls? Where's our eye candy?!
I advise all my lovely readers to give Keith Lemon: The Film a miss. Stay in and watch repeats of Celebrity Juice instead! It's so much funnier. I think Leigh Francis/Keith Lemon has taken it too far this time. Stick to television series rather than films please!
But on the plus side: My packet of Maltesers tasted really nice in the cinema...
