The Apprentice: Final Five

The Apprentice is one of my favourite reality t.v shows and I've watched it religiously throughout this series. There's only five candidates left, so the final is getting really close now! Tonight you'll be graced with the interviews, which is the best part of the process in my opinion. It's pure satisfaction watching the contestants get grilled by top professionals! Here's how I think the final five will do...

Tune into BBC1 tonight at 9pm to see who will be the latest casualty of the board room! Then if that's not enough, watch You're Fired on BBC2 at 10pm. As you've read, I think Neil will win series nine of The Apprentice, but who do you think will be Lord Sugar's business partner? The Voice: My Verdict

The Voice, BBC's answer to The X Factor, draws to a close tomorrow night. If I'm honest, I can't say that this second series of The Voice UK has particularly excited me. There's not enough drama and scandal for my liking! Tomorrow night, the remaining four finalists from each coach's team will battle it out for first place in the singing talent competition. This is what I think of the artists...

So who do you think will win this series of The Voice UK? Will Sir Tom Jones take his artist to the top again or will another one of the coaches clinch first place? Let me know your thoughts on www.facebook.com/MaterialMedia and on Twitter: @Abbey_Hartley and #MaterialMedia. Tune into BBC One tomorrow night at 7.15pm to watch the competition come to an end in the grand finale.

The Voice Clearout

It's a very dramatic weekend for BBC One's The Voice. All four judges may face the sack after tonight's final showdown, due to the programme's dramatic decrease in viewers throughout its first series.

Judges Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and Will.i.am have been blamed for the flop in audience numbers. Early on in the series, The Voice peaked at 11 million viewers, but last week's semi final had plummeted to only 4.5 million!

A BBC insider has explained why the viewing figures have slumped over the weeks: "It seems unlikely any of the current coaches will be back. The viewers haven’t connected strongly enough with them. The show got off to a fantastic start, but the fans got bored of the same ultra-positive and unbelievably nice comments every week, and viewing figures tumbled".

Each judge has individually been criticised by both viewers and the BBC. It has previously been reported that The Black Eyed Peas singer, Will.i.am, does not spend enough time with his acts because of jet-setting to the US. Popstar, Jessie J, has been branded a 'diva' by staff, due to being difficult to contact and always being surrounded by her entourage.

Legend Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue, lead singer of The Script, have both been criticised for their verbal contributions during the show. One viewer posted online: "Tom always says the same thing, it’s always about how he met Elvis or some other star, and he’s never critical even when the act is rubbish, which seems false".

Other viewers complained suggesting that Danny O'Donoghue was reluctant to speak the truth and not prepared to say what he was really thinking.

But who is going to replace these four judges if they are given the sack? Insiders say that BBC bosses are interested in former Girls Aloud singer, Cheryl Cole. She provided an exciting performance at last week's semi final show. She debuted her latest single 'Call My Name' by swan diving onto the stage. The 28 year old has also been at The Voice studios regularly this week to support 'Team Will' finalist Tyler James. Possible job prospects could have been discussed during this time!

Watch this story continue to unfold tonight! The Voice final is live on air at 7.20pm on BBC One. See if you think the existing judges should be hired or fired!
